Baboon – A Poem

I wish I was a baboon

I’d swing through all the trees,

Just to feel against my face

The breeze.

I wish I was a baboon

I’d climb from branch to branch,

Then I’d have the chance

To eat a wild banana.

I wish I was a baboon

Then I’d have a tail,

Then my life wouldn’t entail

Wearing pants.

Clams – A Poem

Funny, aren’t they?

These miracles of nature,

Shimmering opalescence

Like a mouth filled with pearl white teeth.

Ebon – black oil

Inundating the ocean,

Sea creatures dying.

Endangered, aren’t they?
